Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) Panchayat Development Officer Eligibility details is given below
: Candidates should possess Bachelors Degree from a recognized university.
Minimum age limit is 18 years.
For General: 35 years.
For Category – 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: 38 years.
For SC/ ST/ Cat – 1: 40 years
General Paper covering General Knowledge of topics relating to current events, General Sciences, Indian History, Indian Geography, Social Science, matters of every day observation, General Kannada, General English and general mental ability as may be expected of a person who has passed the prescribed qualifying examination.
Papers covering status of people in rural areas of Kamataka and India; Kamataka Panchayat Raj Act and system, Central and State Programmes for rural development, drinking water and sanitation and Panchayat Raj.
The papers shall be set in both Kannada and English.
